∆ Facilitated the design of a statewide, budget neutral, private-pay, universal healthcare public policy model to serve Wisconsin’s estimated 10% uninsured market. ∆ Directed management consultation to more than 50 nonprofit organizations. Simultaneously managed 37 professionals providing consulting support for 21 agencies. Expertise includes: corporate restructuring, role delineation, recruitment, training and assessment, effective leadership styles, strategic planning, goal setting, vision, and business plan development, job descriptions, back office design and implementation, performance assessment, and assessment, intervention, and organizational design. ∆ Successfully served as former Wisconsin Governor/DHHS Secretary Tommy G. Thompson’s first Campaign Finance Director. Reset the fundraising bar as the first to raise over $100,000 at a single special event. Raised nearly One Million Dollars throughout the campaign. ∆ Established Wisconsin Citizens for a Republican Legislature. Today it is known as Republican Party of Wisconsin GOP Majority Conduit. $500,000 was raised statewide in six months which delivered a majority/leadership shift in both Wisconsin houses over two election cycles. In addition, secured individual funding for 20 Republican Wisconsin State Senate and Assembly candidates. ∆ Under Congressman Newt Gingrich’s leadership, delivered GOPAC recruitment and candidate training. Solicited $10,000 GOPAC Charter Memberships. ∆ Campaign management skill in 2002 changed the cooperative configuration of the Milwaukee County Board in one election to a fiscally-conscious, business-focused majority. Managed and/or funded dozens of partisan and nonpartisan campaigns.. ∆ Former Elected, City of Franklin, Wisconsin Common Council member. Led the development and negotiations producing quarry operation regulations within the City. Served on Plan Commission, Labor Negotiations, and Finance Committees. ∆ Teamed Milwaukee’s Jeffrey Dahmer “incident.” Managed media, ascertained interim safe housing, counseling, expedited and funded relocation for building residents. Lives were saved and a neighborhood healed. ∆ Fund development success with emerging as well as established organizations working in all areas of philanthropic endeavor including arts and culture, environment, education, health and human services. ∆ Adept at developing and implementing strategies to increase financial contributions. ∆ Skilled at assessing current development and fundraising efforts, volunteer potential, and personnel issues from development staff through executive level employees. ∆ Ability to parlay mission, service and programs into effective relationship building in government, foundation, corporate and individual funding sources. ∆ Knowledgeable in all aspects of primary and secondary resource development methods including: Major gift cultivation and solicitation; Prospect identification, research, qualification, tracking, recognition |
